Checkmate Autism is dedicated to teaching chess to people on the autism spectrum. Chess is a great tool for aiding cognitive development, and scientific research has shown that chess is able to alleviate many of the challenges that autistic people face. We provide a safe learning environment for our students to study chess, and we offer patient, friendly instruction from highly skilled chess players.
